An unusual base for the copper wire wrap tree focal in this necklace, a carved leaf of red jasper supports the tree & the coppery swallow swooping through it's branches. A handmade, twisted copper wire bail holds the double strand necklace, created with oxidized copper chain sections spaced by copper wire wrapped links. The links hold an assortment of earthy colored gemstone beads including dark, rustic carnelian & smaller, smooth & faceted carnelian rounds, red jasper rounds & rondelles and picture jasper rounds. Oxidized copper heishi & daisy spacers add more detail.
This one of a kind necklace measures 22.5" (57.15 cm) in total length, including it's handmade, oxidized coper wire wrap hook & eye clasp. The focal is just under 2.5" (6.35 cm) in length, from bail to tip.
