Decadent boho style in these richly detailed cobalt blue cluster earrings. They feature focal beads of six-sided natural lapis discs, embraced by oxidized sterling wire wrap bands. Above them, clustered beads of blue glass, silver finish rounds & faceted lapis rondelles are set on antiqued silver twist rings. Lapis is associated with many deities, but most notably, the ancient Egyptian goddess Ma'at, also called the Stone of Truth. Ma'at was present at the judgement of souls, as they confronted the god Anubis, who determined the souls destination, as determined by the weight of their hearts on Ma'at's scales.
The earrings measure about 2 & 1/8" (5.38 cm) in total length, including their hand formed, oxidized sterling ear wires.
