Inspired by trees along rough & rocky coastlines, this earthy elegant necklace features a gnarled, copper wire wrap tree over a piece of deep, mossy green sea glass. Genuine sea glass from Maine, it bears the etchings & pits of the ocean's energy. The tree is meticulously created. "Rooted" on a black (glass) boulder & behind it, an additional section of wire wrap suggests rolling waves. The focal piece is set on a handmade, hammered & oxidized copper front facing toggle clasp.
The main length of the necklace is black woven cotton cord. Attaching the focal to the cord are sections of oxidized copper wire wrapped links, holding a mix of faceted aquamarine, deep green cat's eye tourmaline, vintage Hawaiian puka shell & black lava stone beads. As a final detail, a beautifully detailed copper verdigris swallow is set above the toggle bar & seems to be swooping down to light in the tree's branches.
This soulful necklace measures 23" (58.42 cm) in total length, including the toggle clasp. The focal measures about 2.25" (5.71 cm) in length, including it's bail, by 1.5" (3.81 cm) at it's widest point.
