In perfect, earthy fall colors, this pendant necklace features a natural shiva lingam stone in oxidized copper wire wrap as it's focal. These stones come only from the Narmada river, which flows west in central India, into the Arabian sea. Said to symbolize the endless power of the universe, creativity, uniqueness, sense of acceptance, and creation, the lingam stone is thought to energize the spirit, help find new & better paths in life & have the courage for new beginnings. The stones can be solid in color, dappled with other color, or (like the one in this necklace) feature subtle banding that combines brown, tan, red, grey & cream.
The stone in this pendant is caught in a curvy, spiraling web of oxidized copper wire wrapping, with a faceted ocher color jasper bead at the bottom. The strung bead style necklace has red & picture jasper beads, which play off the color in the lingam stone, oxidized copper melon beads, heishi & granulation spacers and tiny glass seed beads, also in pale brown & deep red.
The necklace measures 18.75" (47.62 cm) in total length, including it's antiqued copper toggle clasp. The focal is 2.5" (6.35 cm) in length, including it's bail & bead drop.
