Like a walk beside a Tranquil Pond, this unique, abstract necklace is lush with dragonflies & leaves...oxidized copper wire wrapping, like meandering webs, adds an earthy note.
The focal of this one of a kind necklace is a frosted white, wing shaped piece of genuine sea glass, hand collected from the shores of the Penobscot Bay, in Maine. There's genuine sea glass, with a vibe & the energy of the ocean in it...and there's manufactured glass pieces, artificially frosted, to give them the look of sea glass. They have no energy.
The glass "wing" is bound in a net of organically flowing, oxidized copper wire wrapping that feels like spider webs & snail trails and other things randomly driven by Nature's mysterious design. From the wrapped glass piece, antiqued copper leaves hang & a cunning little verdigris copper bee hovers. The focal piece is set on a handmade, oxidized copper front facing toggle clasp.
The necklace is created with oxidized copper wire wrap links, each holding faceted beads of dew-clear quartz crystal & intriguing, banded Botswana agate in shades of dove gray, pearly white & translucent cream. Each link is joined to the joined together by ovals of oxidized sterling. Resting to one side is a graceful, detailed verdigris copper dragonfly.

This earthy elegant necklace measures about 19.25" (48.89 cm) in total length, including the toggle clasp. The focal falls 3.5" (8.89 cm) in length, from the top of it's bail, to the bottom of the bee's bum.
