Boho tribal with a modern flair! These pipestone wheel earrings feature discs of hand cut stone, unusually set on sterling ear wires. The natural, earthy red discs of katlinite, aka pipestone, are cut & polished by hand, in the Elksong Jewelry studio. In an intriguing ear wire design, the hand formed sterling wires are held in place with an ornate copper bead cap on either side of the pipestone disc & a cylinder bead of turquoise that sits in the disc. As the earrings move, there's a little wink of turquoise color.

These unique lovelies measure 1.5" (3.81 cm) in total length, from the top of the ear wire, to the bottom edge of the disc. The discs themselves are about 1" (2.54 cm) in diameter. In weight, they are 0.24 oz, or 6.8 grams (per earring)...the same weight as 3 U.S. dimes.

Our hand cut gemstone beads & carvings are made by us, in our studio, one at a time with love, patience, energy and attention to detail. You can absolutely find cheaper, mass-produced, sweat-shop made stone beads & carvings. But, if you appreciate the natural energy a stone holds, why not treat yourself to truly one of a kind pieces in which that energy has been respected & built upon!

Our stone earring tabs are fabricated carefully & skillfully, but please handle them with a bit of care. Excessively rough handling or dropping them on a hard surface could cause possible chipping or breakage. They are natural stone & Nature can be fragile!
