A unique & vivid red and copper necklace that features an artisan made, fired clay petroglyph focal image we think of as the "Fire Shaman". The focal is created by a New Mexico clay artist & depicts an image taken from Petroglyph Hill in the Galisteo Basin, NM area. The image appears to be a human figure engaged in a mystical ritual.
The focal is set with one of our handmade heavy gauge copper & sterling "snail bails". It hangs from a strung bead necklace with a lush mix of fiery glazed ceramic twist beads, picture jasper rounds, rondelles & heishi, bamboo coral cylinder & disc beads, ornate copper beads & spacers and translucent red vintage African glass beads.
This necklace measures 21.25" (53.97 cm) in total length, including it's handmade, oxidized copper toggle clasp. The focal measures about 2.5" (6.35 cm) at it's longest, including the bail, and about 1" (2.54 cm) at it's widest point.
Thanks so much for stopping in! We'd love to hear from you with any questions or requests & in the mean time, enjoy your visit!
