Richly detailed, these sophisticated, yet very boho earrings feature green & black gemstone beads, natural cowrie shells & sterling wire coil wrap. Cowrie shells represent the female & fertility in many African cultures; in these earrings, their "femininity" is private & set to the back, their beautiful golden rings facing forward. Set above the shells are faceted discs of earthy green garnet, smooth lentil beads of black tourmaline & faceted rondelles of jade. All the elements are bound in a sinuous coil of oxidized sterling wire wrap.
